We need someone who can fix the following problem that we are suffering with IE 7, Firefox etc. ? I believe that this is a common problem that should be fairly easily fixed by a real expert.
All new browsers enable the user to open mulitple tabs under the same window. ? If the user accesses the same site several times there is a single browser session id issued (ie if I open [login to view URL] 3 times there is? only? one? browser? session? id).
This might be great for shopping carts etc; but it is not great for our application. ? We run a survey, where the user could be answering two or three different surveys at the same time (say he is answering a survey? form about john and jane and? jeff). ? We need to ensure that the? information? for? each? is? kept? separate.
The application is LAMP environment, and the browser script is a mix of HTML and PERL.
**Please only respond if you have had actual experience of resolving this problem type**. ?
I will need references that explicitly refer to this type of solution.
Thanks for reading this.
