Active Directory to my program link script

Hi, Basically I'm looking for a little VB program that will placed on one of our Windows 2000 Domain Controller Servers, and it will pass information on the Computers and their locations in the OU. The script that I will have allows me to remotely shutdown/restart computers and I would like the option for it to get the Computer Names and locations from there. In addition, is it possibly to list the current user on a machine?
