Joomla Maintenance, Instruction for International NGO

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU BID. THERE ARE REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ACCEPTABLE BID. Thanks to a great Freelancer, we have a new Joomla site in progress. Now we need someone to refine it, add content, sharpen the design and navigation, and answer our Joomla questions. Are you that Joomla whiz we need? TASKS: -Add content to our site sticking to the current format (some will be in Japanese, but you don't need to know Japanese to put it in) -Refine the visual presentation and navigation (use the current template, but make it shine) -Turn the slider into an effective navigation tool - change the slider if necessary -Teach us to use Joomla by answering all our questions and spending a little time together with us on chat and/or Skype. Please be patient, we are a bit slow. -Communicate regularly, everyday and be available. Respond to mails within 12 hours on weekdays (we're in Japan) WHO WE ARE: We are a long-lived NGO in Tokyo, Japan, staffed by both Japanese and foreigners. We work around the world and lately have spent a lot of time on recovery work for the Great East Japan Earthquake. Therefore we don't have a lot of cash for Web development, but we have a lot of heart and enthusiasm and we are fun to work with. The new site is at: [login to view URL] PROJECT SPAN: 4 weeks. There may be periods with nothing, along with heavy periods. You will be paid 50% at 2 weeks, and 50% upon completion of the 4, and if we are comfortable with you, we may extend the term and work with you regularly.
