Zen Cart - Email and Coupon Manager

In my website, I have specials page and regular categories. When I make a coupon, I am not able to select that Specials will not be part of this coupon i.e coupon or certificate should not apply to specials. Only way to do it today is to select specific products to Deny when I am making a coupon. If you can make it such that I can select Specials to Deny from coupon, it will be good. I also want to have a simple e-mail collection field on Home Page. See this website, I want to allow the visitors to put in their e-mail so we can send them coupons etc. I should be able to access the e-mail list via zen cart admin or some other sql tool.
