XP power button press program. Should provide user a defineable time period to cancel a shutdown operation instigated by a power button press. If not cancelled, the computer shutsdown/hibernates on its own.

I would like another option on my power button shutdown menu. I am hoping to be able to have a power button press trigger this program to execute a user definable shutdown command after user definable time period has passed. The shutdown process must be stopped by a simple click on a cancel button on the warning screen. My use for such a program: I have a car PC installed in my truck. As I turn the ignition off, my power supply sends a button press signal to the motherboard, and thus windows, to turn off/hibernate the system (as per my choice in the windows XP power controls). I'd like the option to cancel this shutdown/hibernate if I'm going to be right back (getting gas, etc), but have it continue if I do nothing and leave. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a)Deliverables must come with a [login to view URL] file explaining installation and use. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
