I am looking for an E-commerce agency website B2C to be built for a startup company.
Think of Groupon and Wowcher, (please visit the site if you do not know the concept) - the website will be of a very similar structure.
I will discuss what I am looking for with the developer and will discuss the structure of the website.
The website will be a place for companies to advertise their products and services, and for customers to purchase a unique code/coupon to be redeemed by the customer from the business.
The database will include (approx 18) tables for customers, businesses, products, adverts, coupons, promo codes, and more. The database should also have repository for images for businesses. The database/website should allow for users to login and have a login area: Customers, Businesses (with 2 types of users), and my company (2 types of users). - Customers and businesses should also be able to login using their Gmail/Microsoft/Facebook accounts.
Create the website, with basic functionality to : customer to view products, what they have purchased and redeemed, previous purchases; business to add products, adverts, view what sales have been made and redeem vouchers, add images, edit profile, request funds.
Would also include a shopping cart, promo codes, simple reward scheme. Certain rules should also be in place such as applying various discounts, other calculations.
The developer is to build the front and back ends, and I do have ER diagrams, data dictionary, user journeys and designs (to be discussed).
I hope to build this company further in the future, and would hopefully use the same developer for this in the future as well as on other projects.
English speaking is highly desired.
I would like to see other similar projects that you have built yourself.
I would also prefer to have bids at prices close the final price you will offer - If the difference is too big, I will not accept straight away.
I had a developer creating the site but did not complete and was not entirely as I wished - you can receive the files to work on or work from scratch.
Preferably the database would be coded in Postgres or Django.
The front end ideally using Pycharm, with React or another Javascript framework.
NO Wordpress - if usinga PHP framework, use Laravel, Magento or Codeigniter
