fix a magento eshop hosted in Azure

I have 1 server on Microsoft Azure. I have there hosted 1 magento eshop. At the past I hasde 20 eshops on that server. Since only ne is active now I want to downgrade the size of the server from size D0 to A0. I have done it and convertion is done in Azure without any errors. The problem is that the magento eshop is displaying the following error: magento SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/[login to view URL]' When i upgrade back to D0 size then the eshop is ok. We need the azure vm to be downgraded to a0 and the eshop to work as before
