We are looking for a talented server-side software engineer who can create clean, efficient modular code that we can run on our servers and integrate with our own API. The required solution will monitor Twitter in real-time for tweets that feature specific hashtags and include photos; use our REST API to process the photos and, based on the output, tailor a response to the originator and send it via one of several Twitter accounts. The solution should be built in PHP or Scala+Play, and must integrate with our MongoDB instance. It will be hosted on [login to view URL] on which a dev and test enviroment will be set up for you. Our preference is for the admin panel to be housed within our Wordpress site, so experience creating admin modules on this platform is beneficial.
