On the Move Video Capture Apparatus

For a bike tour, we wish to be able to record video of the route, continously for about 10 hours. A portable camcorder stuck to the helmet kind of a solution used in sports filming will not work. We would like to be able to get the feed from the camera to a laptop, mounted on the bike or the person. The laptop will therefore need to get charged continously using the bikes battery. Wherever the camera is mounted, the housing will need to be weatherproof and sturdy. It would also need to absorb the vibrartions else the video will be very shaky. The camera can be a readily available HD webcam, but the robustness of the product and the ability to overcome the above challenges is the key.
