We are looking for an experienced research writer to write an ebook on - the benefits of interactive multimedia learning resources for young children.
By 'interactive multimedia' we mean software and online programs that engage the child in learning experiences that are interactive ie require the child to click on different pictures/headings, listen to audios and respond to questions etc (Not just 'press the play button and watch a video' and not games).
By 'young children' we mean from early childhood - age 3, through to middle primary school - approx age 8.
The article should address:
The benefits of using multimedia in the classroom
The benefits of using mulitmedia with children who have a learning disability
The ways multimedia can be used as a tool to enhance the learning experience
The fun and enjoyment that can be gained from sharing the learning experience (b/w adult and child)
Counter argue any negative opinions/fears/concerns that parents and teachers might have about young children using computers
If possible, statistics on how children are using computers today (not essential)
Any other benefits that you are aware of.
Length is not as important as quality, however as a guide it is anticipated that the ebook would be between 10 and 15 pages depending on your layout.
The article must be written in English. It should not contain too much jargon because the intended audience is parents of young children and early childhood teachers/carers. Friendly conversational language is preferred - not overly academic.
This ebook will be used by a company who publishes multimedia learning resources for children. By accepting the job you will be handing over all copyright rights for us to sell and reproduce the product. We can include the author name on the publication is a 'by line', but your work will be owned by us and the cover will feature our company name and logo.
It is absolutely essential that the content is your original work and any quotes or material you use from other sources are referenced appropriately.
Only serious bidders should apply.
