I need the bot to appear to google and websites to look like a person with a browser, preferably I would have the choice of browser selection. (like IE, Safari, Chrome) It does not need to be fast or even harvest data, I need it to submit a search query in google, yahoo and bing, using my keywords and look for a specific URL and click the site, go several pages deep in the site and terminate after a set amount of time. Hello there, I have written a similar script to browse Amazon websites and can partially recycle this logic to create the bot that you need. The script will contain a bank of User Agents (browser identifiers), automatically updated as new versions are released, which will be available for you to select from a drop-down menu. Once selected you can input the search query and the request will be sent to the search engine you select (also in a drop-down menu) with your selected browser in the HTTP request header. This will all be provided via a customised back-end PHP script and front-end graphical user interface accessible through your browser of choice. The depth you traverse through the search engine / websites will always have the chosen spoofed User Agent in the request headers since instead of going directly to the destination, every link you click will be detected by Javascript and its address sent back to the script via an AJAX request, then the link's contents will be downloaded by the script (with spoofed headers) before being output into your browser. Might sound complicated but I have the expertise to do this. This can also be automated as per your request - although I would like to discuss this further. Let me know if you have any questions, or would like me to draw a diagram to better explain the process. Hello What I am offering is an iMacros for Firefox script. You will need a Firefox browser with the free iMacros addon installed.
