I am seeking a skilled and experienced Architect to lead the design of a new billing system that will be open-sourced. Responsibilities: - Architect and design a robust, scalable, and secure payment system - Handle system architecture as a whole, working with complex systems and systems consisting of a number of specific parts - Create connections between functional and technical infrastructure - Establish, document and communicate the conceptual base and principles of specific system architecture - Define the system’s technical structure and components (e.g. technological platforms, infrastructure, interfaces) - Define application structure (e.g. levels, division of modules, use of libraries) - Define the software development environment - Define the selection of technical system components (e.g. operation systems, database management system) - Coordinate the research and development of technological solutions - Supervise a team of talented engineers to implement cutting-edge solutions - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise requirements, ensuring that architectural decisions meet business needs - Maintain clear and comprehensive architectural documentation, including design patterns, guidelines, and best practices Requirements: - Extensive experience (5+ years) in software architecture and design - Strong expertise in designing scalable and secure payment systems - In-depth knowledge of relevant programming languages (Golang), frameworks, and technologies. - Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - English communication skills.
