Maintaining a software written in VB6

I have an old proprietary software developed in VB6. When I run it on newer machines, I receive the run-time error: "Component ‘[login to view URL]’ or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." I am aware of some solutions, for example, to download and register [login to view URL] -- as explained here: [login to view URL] However, I would like to have a new version of my software, a simple .exe file that works fine without the need to manually register that component. So I am looking for a programmer that can take my VB6 source code and modify and compile it in a way it does not require the manual component registration.
