I have been giving speeches all my life, particularly ones that are scripture based. In high school, I spoke at the Fellowship of Christian Students on several occasions, I was the chaplain of my boy scout troop. I earned a bachelor's degree in film and digital media that was riddled with presentations and speeches for a variety of courses. I am currently a graduate student, so I am still giving presentations and speeches. I also teach SAT classes for the Princeton Review to high school students, which hones my skills as a public speaker daily.
As for mothers, I couldn't be more appreciative of them. I was raised by a single mom, and actually won her a Mother's Day package from Channel 12 News in Beaumont for an essay I wrote on her motherhood. This is a project I would both deliver with excellence and enjoyment.
