I have a docker container that needs volumes/configurations to run. The docker start is: docker rm -f calserver-dev-docker; sudo docker run --name calserver-dev-docker -d -p 80:80 -p 443:443 -v /etc/letsencrypt:/etc/letsencrypt -v /var/local:/var/local calhelp/calwebapp_bootstrap:latest
now I have added a trigger to build and deploy my docker in gcp. all is running fine, each change in my repo merge will ends in a new docker in gpc registry.
1. I find no way to deploy it automaticly in kubernetes. I do it hand made by kubectl command at the moment. I have seen thet google cloud has deployment manager or that helm chart would be an option, but I have never worked with them
2. I have no idea how I can connect and create a storage for this container to replace -v /etc/letsencrypt:/etc/letsencrypt -v /var/local:/var/local and connect to the pod´s
this volumes are settings and it can be that configurations is better place for it.
3. I need a persistant volume that needs to mount as /var/filemanager for adding docments from my app in my docker container running in kubernetes.
4. not sure if my loadbalancer is correct to work on -p 80:80 -p 443:443, it needs to check
I want to understand what it needs to do. All needs to configure on my GCP via anydesk/teamviewer or skype where I can document tasks will done.
experience with google cloud platform, with experience of working with live data and using kubernetes with dynamically created clusters and pods and once job finished deleted clusters so that it is cost efficient.
