i'm doing medical research for incidence of complications that arise from different anaesthetic methods. as my measured complications are 1. systolic blood pressure at preoperative (t0), 10mins after induction (T1) completion of surgery (T2) 2. complication prevalence like hypotension, nausea vomiting, desaturation my issue is i have difficulty in calculating the sample size as it involves more than 2 groups of anaesthetic method as i divided into 4 groups based on different drugs. however my reference study for sample size calculation, not have data on different drugs as they just narrow it down to 2 groups. the reference Xihui, L.I.U. 2017.
