vb.net fix different country date/time formats

I need vb program to work in different country date time formats. some sample code required vs2008 version which i can try with different country formats currently program uses a DateTimePicker Object with a custom format set to yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm current error: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] I want to check the default country default format and display in that format. Fields needed to display are year, month, date hour and minutes only. Also I need compare with 'Now' time as below, so it will have to work with that as well eg: If [login to view URL] "" Then t1 = DateDiff([login to view URL], [login to view URL], Now) I also need the date/time string back to correct format eg 2013-01-15 10:10:00 for storing in database etc
