web scrapping for historical weather data in USA

I need historical US weather data (zip code wise) for USA for a certain period. I would provide you name of the website, which takes zip code and generates the data for a given date. You have to build a simple java app (or anything in python/ ruby...whatever works in an easy way) which can take date range as input and give historical weather data for all zip codes. You can see zip codes at the weather website itself, when you enter first few digits of a zipcode. The weather data is available for download as csv (for each data and zip code), so it does not require much work there. However, I will need some more information given on that page. CSV format will do for everything. It will be great if you have any previous experience with weather data (not mandatory though). I will provide you link of website after your bid.
