Hello, I want an iPhone/iPod app titled "Gaydar." It sounds like "Radar," but with the word "Gay" in it. The app is a joke to tell if your friend is gay. I want a clever design that looks like handheld metal detector and will beep with a small flashing light on the interface when the user presses the "Scan" button on the iPhone/iPod (As if the metal detector is slowly moving closer to the person being scanned.) After beeping (like a metal detector), if the user swipes (left or right) on the scan button, I want the light to flash red and play a long beep with the words "Gay Person Detected!" on the screen. Please see below for more details. The app is very simple. ## Deliverables The interface MUST be flipped upside down because the user will be pointing the iphone at people with the home button TOWARDS the person being scanned. The point of this app is to jokingly "scan" a friend with the "gay detector." Because the iphone can't actually "scan" someone, the user, by pressing the "+" and "-" buttons, can determine the "outcome" of the scan. See the picture uploaded for how the THEME should look. See the picture uploaded for how the LAYOUT should be: NOTE: The app MUST be upside-down (as shown above) Here are the specifics, referring to each letter: A: This is the small light that I want to blink while the phone beeps. By default, the light should be a constant bright green. When the scan button (F) is held down, the light must flash yellow with a beeping sound. When the scan button is swiped left or right, the light must be a constant bright red and the app must play a long beep sound. If the scan button is released, the light must return to green and the beeping must stop. B: This is the text box. When no button is held down, bright green text must be displayed that says "Ready". When the"Scan" (F) button is pressed, the text must change to yellow that says "Detecting...". When the "Scan" (F) button is swiped left or right, the text must turn red and display "Gay Person Detected!" and a long beep tone must be played until the scan button is no longer being pressed. C: This a line graph, very similar to a graph on a heart rate monitor. When no button is being pressed, the line must be stable. When the "Scan" (F) button is being held down, the line must go up and down (like a heart rate) in rhythm with the beeping and flashing light as described in Part A. When the "Scan" (F) button is swiped left or right, the line must be near the top. Accordingly, when the button is no longer being pressed, the line must return to normal. D: This gauge must be the same concept as Part C. When the "Scan" (F) button is being pressed, the gauge must go up and down in accordance with the beeping of the app. (The gauge should start at 7:00, and when the app beeps, the gauge should clockwise jump to around 11:00 and slowly go back down to around 7:00). When the "Scan" (F) button is swiped left or right, the gauge must quickly jump to approximately 4:30. When the button is released, the gauge should return to 7:00 counter-clockwise. E: This is a second gauge. This gauge operates the exact same way as the gauge described in Part E. The only difference is that the gauge must return much slower to its original 7:00 position when the "Scan" button is released. F: This it the "Scan" button. Text must displayed over the button that says "Scan". As a whole, this app has 3 main states: 1: Default. This is when the scan button is not being pressed. The light (A) must be a constant bright green and the device must play no sound. The text (B) must display "Ready". Gauges D and E should be at 7:00. The line graph (C) should be flat. 2. Scanning. This state is when the "Scan" button is being pressed. The light (A) should be blinking yellow in rhythm with the device beeping. The text (B) should display "Detecting...". This state exists as long as the scan button is being pressed, UNLESS the scan button is swiped left or right. Swiping the scan button will make the device go into the "Detected" state. Gauges D and E should be jumping to about 11:00 (clockwise). Both gauges should be slowly dropping in between each. Gauge E drops much slower than gauge D. The line graph (C) should be going up and down like a heart-rate monitor. 3. Detected. This state occurs when the scan button is swiped left or right and will remain in this state until the user stops touching the scan button. The light (A) should be a constant red and the device should play a long beep sound. The text (B) should display "Gay Person Detected!" This state ends when the "Scan" button is released. Gauges D and E should be at 4:30 and have the appearance of stressed gauges. Line graph (C) should be near the very top of its graph. If you have any questions, please message me.
