Are you an Old School Windows Expert? I need help with a couple of things. Let me know which you can help with. You don't have to do it all if you don't know how to. a) Implementing VDI. We have 2008R2 Datacenter, and newer server. We use RDP to login to the server, but would like to consider moving on to a VDI type solution publishing specific apps instead of a full windows desktop. b) Capturing LPT1 and LPT2 jobs from visual fox pro running on NT based windows systems (xp, 7, 10 , etc) sends jobs directly to default windows driver. Would like to capture jobs sent from this legacy software with NO support to individual USB printers. As of now anything sent to LPT1 and LPT2 print to the local printer. I have mapped LPT1 and LPT2 in the command prompt and they can print to the windows 98 machine properly when I run the command line, but even then, visual fox pro doesn't pick it up. c) Enabling Windows 10 Shares on Windows 98 (SMB, Lan Manager, Etc) Good luck and thanks!

Jeje, I guess I am a old school windows expert, I have over 18 years of experience. I done before the lpt to usb redirect for a old windows 2000 application that we migrated to windows xp with new hardware... but meed to check my notes about that. I also did several deployments of remote apps with RDS and RDG, so you can publish only the necesary apps and improve user experience. Hope we can work together.

I can probably help with b) but I think some of it depends on if you have the source code and are able to make the necessary changes. I did something similar for a client running an xHarbour program Relevant Skills and Experience I have over 20 years programming experience, especially with Visual Foxpro 9 & 6. Most of my clients have now migrated from FoxPro to newer systems I have created for them.
