- Complete the payment process (if applicable)
- Log into your new account and make sure you have access to the protected content associated with your membership level
Step 7: Allow Free Users to Upgrade to Paid Subscriptions
- In order to allow free users to upgrade to a paid subscription, you will need to create a new membership level for the paid subscription and set a higher price for it
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to MemberPress > Options > General
- Under the "Redirect URL after updating a subscription" section, select the membership level that you want users to be redirected to when upgrading from the free level
- Save the options
Now, when a free user tries to access the protected content associated with a paid membership level, they will be prompted to upgrade to that level. They can make the payment and upgrade their membership from their account page.
Congratulations, you have successfully set up MemberPress with the ability for users to upgrade to a paid subscription!
