Hi; Besides updates, I presume you' re maybe using older PHP version that will break things, which is quite common these days, especially with the release of PHP 8.x. In such scenarios, I create a replica of sites on my local machine, test them first by installling exact server (same mysql / mariadb version, apache or nginx depending on server, and obviously same PHP version) and once it looks and runs flawlessly, I backup the old & install the new.
