I noticed a project called "Automate sending Desktop WhatsApp messages on Mac from Excel file". I need to automate a routine task on MacOS: - extract NAME and MESSAGE from customers information (excell file) - search NAME and send a WhatsApp MESSAGE to my customer (on Web WhatsApp) I have MacOS and it could be developed with Automator and/or AppleScript, but I need instructions to use it. I am interested about this project and would love to link it to my FileMaker database in order to send messages via WhatsApp.
Looking for vba code for Excel for Mac 2016 to select a file based on a file mask and extension in the downloads directory and refresh the text import. eg downloads folder contains many other files including abc (1).csv abc (2).csv I would like a button on excel (marked REFRESH) that when pushed will open the file selection dialog and show only -csv files -whose filename contains the characters in cell K1 (eg A1 contains abc, so it must only list the 3 files above) -sorted newest file on top. When the file is selected, the Edit Text Import on that page must be refreshed with data from that file. Source code to be supplied in Excel file supplied, as described above to demonstrate that it works. See attached files.

I need someone to develop automator for order process.
Hello, I need an AppleScript that looks into my email inbox. It then looks at my orders received via email in my inbox and sends out an email asking how their service was. It needs to search the order in the inbox and extract the customers email address. It should send the email 4 days after the original order was received. With this message it will automate the task of asking a customer how their oil delivery went. Hello, We are looking for feedback on your heating oil dealer. Any comments would be appreciated. Did the dealer get back to you quickly? Did you get a good price? Was the delivery scheduled easily etc. What would you rate this transaction on a scale of 1 - 10 ? Please reply back to this email with any comments on your heating oil delivery. HEATING OIL COMPANIE...

Looking for someone to develop a quick Applescript that will help me automate my podcast editing & upload to Libsyn, my podcast provider. I have very simple audio that only needs a few out-of-the-box effects from Audacity applied to it. The entire process normally takes me about 18 minutes. I'd like to cut it down as much as possible. I attached a document that has almost every step I have to follow in this process. I'm looking to automate everything between steps 4-26. 'm not familiar with Applescript so I want to know what's possible/plausible. In other words, I know I'm asking for the moon and the stars, but I'll be happy if I get at least a star! I'm also open to changing my process as needed to help with the automation. I have tw...

I have repetitive tasks that I do every day that I would like to automate. I pull data in spreadsheet format and open in numbers and curate the data. The steps are exactly the same every day. I need help from someone who understands AppleScript and Numbers. - Delete the first three and last three rows. - Delete the last three rows. - Move column C to column A. - Etc. This would be an ongoing project... I’m not against using excel and macros to accomplish it, but will not be able to show the tasks accomplished by hand in excel. “Stay hungry, stay foolish”

Hi Anil! Hopefully this is the start of much collaboration together. To start: I need a simple answer on AppleScript . I have a large literal string (say, an entire text file, with slashes, semi colons, Back slashes, and newlines — this is important!). I have a simple outer layer script which types these characters into a Screen Sharing window using the “keystroke” call. For some reason, my forward slashes are being turned into some weird escape characters (inside the Screen Share, I’m using putty in X Windows, and inside that I am using Emacs, but not sure that is relevant). This should be a relatively simple inquiry with a simple answer, just will take a bit of research and trial and error. Please let me know if you need additional details or if you nee...

Applescript to move .mov files into subfolders based on the filename. Drop a folder of .mov's and move them into subfolders based on the first 6 characters of the filename: Example files: and sort into these subfolders: AB ----- AB0010 ------------ AC ----- AC0010 ------------ I would also like it to ignore any .mov's that have _h264 in the filename and leave them in their original locations. Of the folder already exists just move to existing.
I need a simple application or script that will batch trim a specified number of frames off the beginning and/or end of a folder of video clips (.mov). This might need to use FFmpeg, QuickTime, AppleScript, Automator or other. Here's how this should work: 1. ask the user to select the source folder 2. ask how many frames to trim from the beginning of each video clip (default "4") 3. ask how many frames to trim from the end of each video clip (default "7") 4. and then select the destination folder. It would be good if the last numbers entered could be automatically saved as the default for next time. I also need this to automatically insert the letter "G" after the 6th character in each new filename. This needs to run natively on a Mac and all...
...Pro, an iOS accounting package (). This product does not have open API's to integrate to, however it does allow for upload and download of CSV / tab-delimited files. They are looking to purchase a point-of-sale (POS) system that can create CSV files. Obviously they do not want to have to manually upload CSV files every day, so I would like to get an Applescript developer who can write an Applescript to automate this. At the moment I think this can be run overnight as a batch job, and will just be to import Sales information into Account Edge (I mention this because Account Edge needs a different CSV file for each different thing e.g. sale, customer, supplier, product etc). To start with we are thinking of just testing this import process with sales (from POS to Acco...

I need a small applescript (folder action). This script should watch a folder for new files (photos). When a new file was added, a dialog window should be displayed: "Please enter article no?". The entered text should be now a part of the new filename "" (the script does renaming the added file). The entered "article no" should be saved anywhere (property file?) and re-used at next time as pre-entered defaulttext for the dialog prompt. The sequence no should incremented from file to file, and with a button resetted to zero. I need the script with source code, MacOS 10.14 MoJave

I need to be able to have standard text and that I can put the first name of the contact in the message in more than one place within the standard text.
