We have programmed an automatic feed for loading products. When running it manually everything works perfectly. When we run the Cron of the same feed in Plesk (https://.......) it works normally (200) but the file is not updated. We are adapting a legacy vanilla php site into a wordpress installation, new articles are dropped in to a folder on the web server and the existing script is run using CRON to insert the stories into a mySql database. It has some logic within the script which categorises the stories which we wish to maintain within the new wordpress installation. We can create a compatible custom post type and appropriate taxonomy structure within wordpress to help the process but need the existing script adapted so that it will insert the articles into wordpress and correctly categorise them.

We had a small Python script developed some years ago to work on an Enigma2 set top box, this script worked so when the TV box was rebooted wither manually or by a cron job it would download files from our own server to the box itself. Its worked fine for many years and still does but since we have updated the OS including Python on the latest software our script has stopped working.
