As a leading innovator in consumer electronics, we're looking for a highly skilled Electronic Engineer to revamp our existing power supply design. A successful redesign will embody: - Increased Efficiency: We want to maximize the output-to-input power ratio, reducing energy consumption and overall costs. - Smaller Size: To fit into tight spaces, would be nice if the power supply size was reduced without sacrificing performance. Key Technical Requirements: - Voltage Range: The power supply should function optimally across a wide voltage range. - Current Capacity: It must handle varying current demands that come with different electronic devices. - Temperature Range: Operational stability must be maintained across various environmental and load conditions. Proven experience in power supply design within the consumer electronics field is highly advantageous. Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of power electronics, with an emphasis on efficiency and size optimization, is a must. Currently using torroids that are becoming more and more expensive, the supply we use now is very reliable would like to look at lower cost options and approaches We have Schematics of existing supply and a wish list of changes we would like to see.
