Help with small problems faced during Django development modal forms - AJAX

I am writing a django application and have come across a couple of problems that someone with more experience in AJAX should be able to solve quickly. I'm using the following app: [login to view URL] to create modal forms. The two problems are: - On one page the link to the modal form is on a page that has a form on it, this means that I either don't refresh the page which leaves the newly added record off or I do and any changes not submitted on the form are lost - On one of the modal forms I have a datetimefield, normally adding a datepicker is simple ([login to view URL]) but on the modal form I can't get it to work.
