CodeLance is a "Freelancers"-based site for freelance programmers and custom software buyers. Currently I provide support for the site's members through email only but as the site has got busier it has become more difficult to keep track of member's current issues and past support history. Consequently I'd like to introduce a helpdesk facility which allows users to enter and track support issues via a browser. I'm not looking for anything too fancy but the system should, as a minimum, include email notification to the support person of new ticket creation, email notification to the user of ticket handling and the ability to search through support history for certain keywords. Also, a user who is logged on to CodeLance should not need to log on to the help system separately, rather access to the helpdesk should be based on their pre-existing CodeLance credentials. Integration with an FAQ system (i.e. where FAQ entries are automatically suggested based on the contents of the ticket) is not necessary but will be considered.
