We want to add a delete functionality to a PHP Website using a MYSQL database. This webpage is accessible by a standard user/password credential. There are two tables - the primary table and the deleted table. The website allows the user to see one record at a time. We want to add a button on the website which will delete that record from the Primary table (via associated Primary Key field) and add it to the Deleted table. Two fields in the primary table will be changed to a different value with this change. The structure of both tables is identical. Lastly, the Deleted table has two extra fields and we would like the date/time stamp and User name (in session) to be logged into those two fields in the Deleted Table whenever a record is deleted from the Primary table. Example, if the Primary table has 100 records and we delete 2 records, then the Primary will have 98 records left and the Deleted table will have 2 records (plus a log of which user deleted them and at what time).
