Hello, I am interested in your language teaching job and understand that you would like 30-minute lessons at a time for Chinese students. My Russian is equivalent to native (as I grew up in a Russian-speaking household) and I have tutored the language, both formal and conversational, privately to students of various age groups, and special needs, in the past. (I have done the same with Arabic, French and English, so I do have a background in language teaching, and my formal training comes from university coursework in the field of Education. I'll be doing the CELTA in July to begin school teaching and so may end up with additional language-teaching skills then). The fact that I do not know "Chinese" would mean I'm best suited for non-beginners, or students who also know other languages, but what I do have to offer is an effective and considerate student-centered approach and a very flexible schedule the upcoming months. I write out my syllabus depending on each person's capacities, learning style, and what needs to be achieved, so if you would like a sample made out, or would like to discuss further details, please do feel free to drop me a line on this account.
